I have just purchased my first mac and I need to set up some good and affordable CRM for my job. I am familiar with Maximizer and have also been recommended ACT. I am not familiar with any of the software that is listed on this forum. Are there free trials for them. Is there anyone one here who is an outside sales rep who uses any of these programs? I am looking specifically for the following abilities:
Print form letters that sync automatically with contacts Program tasks for contacts Assign generic tasks to contacts enter notes for each conversation with contacts Program appointments with contacts Track phone calls

I'm in the same boat - got my IMac three weeks ago. I have used ACT for Windows on my old PC for years so I can say if you are looking for a complete contact management system it is very good (it is not a full blow CRM) and if Sage offers the same feature set for the Mac you will get all the features you asked for below.
That said, it is not very stylish and looses many points on it's obvious lack of graphical presentation as it has not change it's appearance since V1. Even though I have used ACT on the PC, I am looking for a contact management package the seamlessly syncs with ICal, AddressBook, and Pages. If you have found such an animal, pleases let me know.

hope you guys had luck searching for a good CRM.
This is a list of programs from a research I did last week
- Studiometry
- iBiz
- iRatchet
- Streamtime
- Ntractive
- Daylite
- Contactizer Pro
There are many more, but these are the ones that I recommend trying, they all have trials so you can give them a try.
Dont forget some of them will have extra project management capabilities, so choose the one that suites you best
Good luck,
